Purpose
Key Missions
We are hiring for a Senior IT Support Engineer (System Administrator) based at NSEZ, Noida.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for network infrastructure over scope sites in the organization
- Design/capacity planning/ Implementation /Administration and support of Virtual Environment on VM platform.
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Configuring and installing Network appliance for upgrading and maintaining network
- Hands-on experience with designing and building physical servers installing, configuring, and patching ESXi
- Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
- extensive knowledge of ESX host and Storage integration with iSCSI & FC technology.
- Regular support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the escalated tickets for the internal and external customer.
- Hands-on knowledge of configuring VM network in VMware(vlan/vlan IDs/network teaming etc.
- Manage ESX and vcenter patches & VMware tools versions
- Good understanding of Routing, Switching & Firewalls
- Design, setup and configure switching HP, CISCO environments
- knowledge of veeam backup application and its integration with vm technologies for backup and recovery
- Good understanding of windows administration and domain environment.
- Excellent Knowledge of configuring, tuning, maintaining, and monitoring Windows 2016 / 2019 Enterprise Servers.
- Strong hands-on experience on security and non-security patch remediation on large scale of Windows server environment through WSUS server.
- Antivirus solution Management, Policy creation, deployment, Database backup and troubleshooting.
- Understanding about vulnerability management/ penetration testing
- Proposes improvement projects and evaluates costs in alignment with local business needs and report properly
- Acts as a lead or first-level supervisor during manager absence providing leadership and been the escalation point of contact for the department
- Ensures processes are properly deployed and used among IT Network or System Administrator teams
- Contributes to the infrastructure strategy
- Coaches and manages a team of IT Network or System Administrator
To succeed in the above mission, you will need to have following skills/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in IT/ equivalent
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE)/Vmware Certified/CCNA or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
- 08-12 Years in Server/Network/System administration
- Good experience of Network administration
