Integration Engineer

Purpose

The Common Techno Platforms (CTP) business line, responsible for delivering products that meet customer needs in three primary markets: Identity, Law Enforcement, and Border Control, is seeking an Integration Engineer who will be responsible for defining the system integration strategy, configuring, installing, and validating IDEMIA's solutions to best address customers' requirements and optimize IDEMIA's business value.

Key Missions

  • Contributes to the project's agile rituals
  • Participates in design work
  • Defines and implements automated unit tests (Jenkins)
  • Develops functional and non-functional test plans
  • Designs the test strategy
  • Writes technical documentation
  • Installs test benches
  • Performs integration and testing tasks, meeting expectations in terms of cost, time, and quality
  • Conducts system-level investigations in case of issues (via logs/traces)
  • Reports anomalies
  • Optimizes system performance
  • Understands and addresses complex architectures/challenges (HA, active/active, performance)
  • Provides active support to other team members
  • Provides level 3 support to IDEMIA’s integration teams, support teams, and/or clients
  • Acts as an expert, gathering requirements from clients or integration teams

Profile & Other Information

  • Engineering graduate or holder of a Master's degree in Computer Science
  • Experienced Software Integrator with in-depth knowledge of Linux and proficiency in continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Maven, Hudson)
  • Skilled in configuration management using SVN and proficient in issue tracking with Jira.
  • Background includes several years in software development or similar roles within the security sector
  • Strong scripting abilities in shell and Python for automation tasks
  • Practical understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure), microservices, and Docker & Kubernetes infrastructures
  • Demonstrates exceptional teamwork, attention to detail, and adeptness in solving complex problems
  • Excellent written communication skills and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of COTS like RabbitMQ and Zookeeper is a plus
