Purpose
This role is responsible for design, development and improvement of algorithms to efficiently answer to business or customer needs.
Key Missions
- Designs, implements, improves and optimizes statistically robust, efficient, secure and scalable algorithms while respecting platforms’ constraints
- Adapts the algorithms to improve system and customer experience, to create added value for customers, and to win external benchmarks
- Develops test strategies and methodologies to evaluate new or competing algorithms
- Presents algorithms and results for internal community challenges
- Stays up-to-date on latest state of the art research and algorithm development methodologies
- Provides support to solution design, implementation, customization and operations
- Closes proactively the loop with operational data/logs to ensure the algorithms are fully effective in operations
- Defines and Leads complex studies
- Interacts with internal customers to create value
- Coaches less experienced researchers
