Purpose

This role connects with internal customer to understand business requirements and translate them into technical and functional solution through group or local applications.

Key Missions

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the relevant business processes within the organization. Understand how SAP/ERP aligns with and supports the business
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for SAP/ERP system usage. Communicate these requirements to SAP implementation team
  • Assists in the configuration and customization of the SAP/ERP system to meet specific business needs. Work with SAP/ERP consultants and IT teams to translate business requirements into system configurations
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and key users to ensure they understand how to use  the SAP/ERO system effectively. Provide ongoing support and training as needed, especially for new features or updates
  • Serve as a point of contact for end-users who need assistance or have questions related to the SAP/ERP system. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues or escalate them to the appropriate support channels
  • Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Ensure that configured SAP solutions meet business requirement and are free from defects
  • Document business processes, configurations, and user guidelines to create a knowledge base for SAP/ERP system. Maintain documentation to reflect any changes or updates to the system
  • Facilitate change management by communicating system changes, upgrades, or new features to end-users. Help manage the transition for user when there are updates in SAP/ERP system
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the SAP/ERP system. Collaborate with the IT team to implement enhancements and improvements
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the SAP/ERP system. Collaborate with data management teams to address data-related issues
  • Use SAP/ERP reporting tools to generate and analyze reports that provide insights into business performance. Help users interpret and utilize reports for decision-making
  • Assist in defining and managing user roles and authorizations within SAP/ERP system. Work with IT and security teams to ensure that security policies are enforced
  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT, ensuring effective communication and understanding between the two groups. Communicate updates, issues, and changes to relevant stakeholders

 

Scope:

  • Leads a project related to SAP/ERP system
  • Orders external support and training
  • Works and cooperates with external suppliers in relation to his responsibilities

Profile & Other Information

Requirements:

  • min. secondary education
  • at least 3 years at the similar position
  • languages: Czech or Slovak fluent, English communicative
