Pre-Sales Technical Consultant (Payment Card Personalization)

Purpose
Provides technical advice and consultation to organizations with regard to technology. Assists in analyzing and solving moderately complex technical problems and developing specialized and generalized software solutions. Supports standards for the operation, integration and installation of system solutions. Defines and evaluates software, hardware and network requirements. Works independently on projects and components and collaboratively as part of a team. Presents recommendations and solutions in written or oral reports and may provide guidance to less experienced team members. Typically requires BA and 3-5 years.
Key Missions
- Provide technical consulting and support related to card payment security, card personalization, profile development lifecycle, key management and solution integration.
- Lead profile development activities, refine requirements, coordinate development, validate quality through testing and troubleshooting, support implementations.
- Provide personalization operational support through troubleshooting and resolution of chip personalization issues and enhancement of chip validation tools used for incoming chip inspection and personalized card quality validation.
- Manage the regional product roadmap by recommending target chip solutions to customers and sales teams, identifying product gaps, and driving new product development requests to address market and customer requirements.
- Participate in pre-sales and customer training, act as a technical point of contact, and mentor junior team members.
Profile & Other Information
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent technological experience. Master’s Degree or above is a plus
- 3-5 years’ experience in technical consulting, support or implementation roles.
- Working knowledge of Smart Card, EMV and cryptography related technology would be a plus
- Desired computer skills: Java, C#, Python, Excel Macros Technical Skills
- Innovative, self-starting, hands-on, technology professional and who has analytical/conceptual skills
- Organized, flexible, results-oriented and decisive with a can-do attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
