We are currently looking for Integration & Automation Engineer to join our Security Excellence Center Team. The team stands watch on secruity in all sites of IDEMIA all over the word. The Integration & Automation Engineer will join the efforts of making the one, united system - which is quite a challange in so many places.

Key Missions

As our new Integration & Automation Engineer you will:

  • Systems Integrations :
    • Connect diverse systems through API integrations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather integration requirements and define an appropriate integration approach.
  • Automation of Existing Systems
    • Develop and refine automation scripts  
    • Define and implement automation strategies to streamline existing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Identification of Automation Opportunities
    • Analyze current workflows and system interactions to identify potential for automation, process improvement, or cost savings.
    • Propose and prioritize automation initiatives based on business impact and feasibility.
  • Validation & Testing
    • Execute system validation tests to confirm performance, reliability, and security across integrated or automated processes.
    • Investigate issues by analyzing logs and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
    • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation (installation guides, process flows, best practices) for integrated and automated solutions.
    • Provide training or guidance to internal teams as needed.
  • Optional or Beneficial: DevOps/CI/CD
    • While not strictly required, familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization) can further optimize automation and integration workflows.

 

To succeed on this position you should have following:

  • English - fluent, this is our communication language;
  • Logical mindset - we would like to make sure you can connect the right dots together
  • Power and willignes for imprevements - we believe there is always a space for imprevement and we are looking for someone who feels the same
  • Communication skills - you do not need to be a ninja or other warrior, but you need to know how to maintain a good relationships with external stakeholders
  • Experience on similar role (at least 5 years)
  • Programming languages - know at least one (Python/Bash/Java/etc.), work with it and understand how the logic of programming language works in general
  • Data base understanding (SQL)
  • Experience with working with APIs (and strong knowledge of it)

 

The role is located in Riga, Latvia. We can propose the hybrid model of working with at least 3 days per week from the office.
