Production Supervisor (Radars Assembly)

Purpose
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assembly line, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves managing and guiding assembly line technicians, monitoring workflows, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. The Production Supervisor ensures that all production activities align with established procedures and performance goals.
Key Missions
Production Management:
• Supervise daily operations of the assembly line to ensure efficient production.
• Implement production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines.
• Ensure production targets are met by optimizing processes and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure raw materials and components are available for uninterrupted production.
Quality & Process Improvement:
• Enforce quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
• Monitor quality control standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements for higher productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Team Supervision & Development:
• Manage and train assembly line technicians, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety training and enforce best practices on the production floor.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Profile & Other Information
• Bachelor’s degree in electronic/ electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an electronics assembly line factory
• Hands-on experience with electronic component assembly, wiring and testing
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Lean Six Sigma).
