DevOps/ DevSecOps Engineer

Purpose

The incumbent must be able to do System integration. Ability to use different software extensively. The candidate participates in the realization of high systems technology in the field of biometrics applied to security or border control applications. 

Profile & Other Information

  • Minimum 2-3 years of related systems integration and DevSecOps experience 
  • Good knowledge in different OS like Windows, Windows server and Linux (RedHat, Oracle) 
  • Expertise in deploying and troubleshooting containerized applications within Kubernetes and docker 
  • Existing experience managing application releases through Helm is preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge in network domains (TCP/IP, HTTP) and security (TLS, WSS, PKI) is preferred 
  • Strong knowledge in automation tools (i.e. Ansible) and configuration management tool (i.e. SVN, GIT, JIRA) is necessary. 
  • Hands on skills in Linux scripting and window administration (Active Directory, GPO) is welcomed. 
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines will be beneficial 
  • Certified on any one of the Kubernetes deployments will be an added advantage 
  • Prior working experience in government environment will be advantageous

Key Missions

  • ​​​​Manage and migrate applications across different on-premises environments. 
  • Design, implement and maintain automated deployment and monitoring solutions. 
  • Drive automation for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency across different projects as well as teams. 
  • Promote new DevSecOps technologies or best practice to improve current processes. 
  • Investigate issues by analyzing logs, collaborating across different teams and actively driving to implement fixes 
  • Improve monitoring and deployment strategies to ensure issues do not repeat. 
  • Deliver quality work products, that consider the impact on all of our stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to knowledge base and knowledge sharing related to installation, maintenance and administration to team member and other teams. 
  • Provide training to other teams and handover system to maintenance support team.
