Infra Engineer

Purpose
We're looking to hire an expert to help our customer's keep our networks and systems safe from cyber-attacks. You'll be responsible for keeping an eye on security issues, figuring out what needs to be done, coming up with solutions, facilitating and supporting security audits and tests. In addition, you will help staff and stakeholders stay on top of security awareness and training
Key Missions
- Monitoring and analyzing network and system activity.
- Participate and contribute during regular system audit activities to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
- Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and coordinate with system owners for timely patch deployment.
- Responsible as point of escalation for technical problems in areas including system security, network architectures.
- Maintain and improve automated patching workflows across Windows, Linux, in on-prem environments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
Profile & Other Information
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution with 5 or more years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in configuring and managing switches, firewalls, and other networking devices from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint.
- Network certifications (e.g. CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
- Experience in Windows, RHEL Linux and VMware/Hyper-V systems.
- Experience in system and network security-related tasks such as hardening, patching.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
