Purpose

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a Pre Sales Solution Architect to work on the ‘ABCS’ project which refers to the "Automated Border Control System".

IDEMIA, a global leader in augmented identity and biometric solutions, has been a key player in developing and implementing advanced border control systems in Singapore. The Automated Border Control System (ABCS) uses state-of-the-art biometric technologies such as facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and iris recognition to facilitate faster and more secure immigration clearance.

As The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will work closely with our sales and technical teams to craft innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and will transforms requirements into design to reach the best-in-class solution.

 

Key Missions

As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, here are the key responsibilities:

 

· Collaborate with Sales and Product Teams: Partner with account executives and sales teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions that address their business challenges.

· Solution Design: Architect comprehensive technical solutions that leverage our product offerings and meet client needs.

· Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients to present technical solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and address technical questions during the sales process.

· Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals, including solution architecture, project scope, and implementation timelines.

· RFP/RFI Response: Lead the technical response to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring that all technical aspects are clearly articulated and aligned with client requirements.

· Proof of Concept (PoC): Design and oversee PoCs to demonstrate the viability and effectiveness of proposed solutions.

· Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary technical contact for clients during the pre-sales phase, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.

· Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform solution design and client discussions.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and project management teams to ensure that solutions are feasible and can be delivered on time and within budget.

Profile & Other Information

You will guarantee your success if you have:

 

· Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a solution architect, pre-sales, or technical sales role

· Technical Expertise: Strong Software and Infrastructure management and Data Center Management (IaaS, Paas) technical background with expertise in designing a solution end to end.

Relevant industry experience in the Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with business needs and drive the sales process.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about client needs and propose innovative solutions.

· Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
