Purpose
Key Missions
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) and final decision-maker within the assigned technology domain (e.g., Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Applications, Data).
- Define and maintain technical standards, patterns, and policies across IT projects.
- Review and approve solution designs to ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Provide technical governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to IT systems and projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organization.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Mentor and guide technical teams, providing training where necessary.
- Serve as the escalation point for major incidents, technical challenges, or disputes.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by providing authoritative technical input
Profile & Other Information
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior technical or architecture role (e.g., Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, Lead Developer).
- Deep expertise in at least one IT domain (Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Data, or Applications).
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture and integration patterns.
- Experience defining and implementing governance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST).
