IT Infrastructure Site Lead

Purpose
The IT Infrastructure Site Lead role sits within the local IT Industrial Operations Support function and is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of all site-based IT services and infrastructure. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities, providing operational oversight of end-user support, infrastructure services, and local technology projects.
The IT Site Lead will lead and support a small local IT team, act as the senior technical escalation point, and work closely with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards, security policies, and service management processes.
Key Missions
- Lead the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum system availability across the site. Manage networks, servers, storage, backups, disaster recovery, connectivity, and access while monitoring performance, capacity, and security. Implement global infrastructure standards and support modernisation initiatives.
- Provide leadership to the local IT Infrastructure Support Analyst, managing workload, priorities, and service quality. Ensure compliance with ITIL incident, request, problem, and change processes, acting as the escalation point for major incidents and driving root cause analysis and preventive improvements. Maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Identify and implement service improvements, automation, and technology enhancements while contributing to local, global and BU led IT projects.
- Maintain compliance with IT security policies through patching, vulnerability management, access controls, audit support, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, global IT teams, and vendors, communicating service updates and project progress. Participate in the on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support for business-critical operations.

Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe when required.
- Full driving licence preferred.
- Business-level English required.
- Additional local Dutch language skills are advantageous.
