IT Infrastructure Engineer

Purpose
This role is within the local IT Business Operations Team and is responsible for installing and maintaining applications, servers, virtualization, storage, network devices, telephony and backup systems to ensure stable performance and availability of critical services provisioned within our Service Centre site based in the UK.
Key Missions
Responsibilities:
- Maintain uptime of all critical IT infra and assets
- Manage network infra, including firewall, switches and cabling
- Manage physical servers (HP and Dell) and virtualisation technology, both HCI and traditional clusters
- Manage Storage Array Networks (HP MSA and Dell ME arrays) FC and SAS
- Manage Veeam Backups and Tapes
- Maintain site compliance by participating in regular audit activity for logical IT Security tasks
- Hosting and remediation of Internal and External penetration testing
- Manage customer file transfers and site connectivity, VPN, SFTP, lease line
- Participate in the IT on call rota to provide support outside of business hours
Requirements:
- Fluent English,
- Openess to travel across the Europe,
- Networking and administration - Cisco, Aruba,
- Windows server - 2016 and up,
- Active Directory,
- Virtualization - Vmware (Nutanix nice to have),
- Backup - Veeam,
- GPO, ITIL - nite to have.
