Programme Director - Managed Service Provider Programme

Purpose

 

The Interim Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a Temporary Worker Managed Service Provider (MSP) programme, from Request for Proposal (RFP) through to implementation and go-live. This role requires a highly experienced programme manager with expertise in procurement, stakeholder engagement, process transformation, and MSP implementation.

Key Missions

 

RFP Management & Supplier Selection

  • Develop and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage and manage key stakeholders to define programme requirements and success criteria.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals, facilitating selection and contract negotiations with legal and procurement teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and procurement policies.

 

Programme Planning & Governance

  • Define programme scope, timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks, including risk and issue management strategies.
  • Develop and track programme budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.


Implementation & Change Management

  • Develop and execute a detailed implementation plan for the selected MSP.
  • Lead business process reengineering to align with the new MSP model.
  • Collaborate with HR, procurement, IT, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop and deliver training and change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings with senior leadership, hiring managers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure transparent communication, managing expectations and addressing concerns proactively.

 

Go-Live & Post-Implementation Review

  • Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process validation before go-live.
  • Oversee the transition to the MSP, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor initial programme performance, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop post-implementation reports and lessons learned for future enhancements.
     

Profile & Other Information

 

  • Proven experience in programme/project management within contingent workforce, MSP, or recruitment transformation projects.
  • Background in HR, procurement, operations, or workforce management is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and compliance in contingent workforce management.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageous.
