Sales Account Manager

Purpose
Our Sales Account Manager will manage a portfolio of strategic Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and MVNO IOT customers in Northern Europe. Identify, develop and win strategic new business opportunities in the Telecom sector, generating profitable new revenue streams in line with business objectives. Drive hardware, software and service sales in line with company targets to increase top line growth, whilst protecting margin.
Key Missions
As our new Sales Account Manager you will:
- Manage a portfolio of strategic MNOs and IOT customers in Northern Europe with the objective to:
- Maximize sales revenue against targets
- Create, maintain and develop productive business relationships at multiple levels within named accounts
- Own key senior management relationships within named accounts
- Provide support to accounts in line with objectives
- Provide a rolling 12 month and up to date commercial forecast
- Plan sales activity to deliver the forecasted orders / revenue
- Develop and drive new, strategic business opportunities at both existing customers and new prospects, generating new revenue streams, working with tiger teams
- Including the promotion and business development of strategic MNO technologies such as M2M/IOT, 5G and e-UICC products
- Including an explicit focus on selling strategic digital services and solutions portfolio such as Smart Connect Consumer and IOT and OTA
- Functionally manage all internal resources (e.g. Business Line, Pricing, Operations, Contract Management, Fulfilment) to deliver the agreed customer requirements. Expedite all necessary tasks to ensure requirements are met and any associated revenue is achieved.
- Drive account planning activity, ensuring involvement from all relevant areas of the business. Maintain up to date account plans and provide regular internal updates.
- Provide timely reporting to the rest of the business, including weekly activity reports, monthly updates, meeting briefings etc.
To succeed on this position you should have following:
- Experience of selling complex projects (including hardware, software & services) to large MNOs and/or IOT customers leading and winning bids/pitches.
- Experience of effectively managing internal cross-functional teams (setting objectives, managing performance, monitoring and delivering against revenue objectives, managing account planning initiatives)
- Degree level qualification is preferred
- Experience of relevant account management and new business development - at least 5 years
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong relationship building skills at all levels of organizations
- Negotiating skills
- Ability to work under pressure, quick thinker
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage others to complete tasks

This role may be fully remote with occasionally (~once a month) visits in customers' offices.
