Pre-Sales Technical Consultant

Purpose
Key Missions
- Manage technical (pre-sales, development, post-sales) requirements of financial institutions industry (payment and transportation)
- Initiate quarterly products and services presentation to customers
- Manage all projects during pre-sales and after sales from conceptualization to kick off to sign off
- Work closely with country head for Payment Services BU and provide support to meet country’s objectives
- Responsible for all the technical activities for the Payment Services BU in the Japan
- Primary contact / front-liner for all technical-related activities, working closely with CPS support, perso partners, regional and global technical and product teams
- Full project management for all projects from requirements gathering for white plastic certification to personalization profile setup to UAT sign off
- Provides support to sales team, including customer service on products and services to be used including the details required for order management
- Provides support to local partners on CPS requirements, card profile and perso profile
- Leads resolution of customer complaint raised that will require technical expertise
- Provides support to existing customers and strengthen relationship with counterparts
- Proactively seek ways to improve skills, knowledge, and understanding of company’s tools, products, and solutions to be able to carry out the job effectively
- Ensure all processes are complying with security policies and scheme compliance
Profile & Other Information
- Minimum 7 years experience in similar area
- 4+ years of experience in the EMV/Smart card industry will be preferred
- Knowledge in solution selling and project management, a plus
- Preferably Information Technology background
- Fluent in Japanese (a must), English
