Industralization Engineer

Purpose

The main definition of an IDEMIA Corporate Industrialization Engineer is to collect and bring to the R&D team all necessary information to help them on their development from the beginning of their actions, support Pilot production, facilities, and approved first production. 

They build production documentation package and transfer package to share and dispatch productions know-how between all IDEMIA Facilities and give common guidelines on processes. 

 

Key Missions

  • Work with Corporate R&D department (product) during development step to prepare industrialization input with manufacturing specifications to identify risks and limits of new development from the beginning.  
  • Develop final factory acceptance report to ensure that current development will respect all mass production requirements from his customer. 
  • Support Pilot production with R&D team and Factory Engineering teams to collect and build a parameters package of this new production and ensure that this package is reliable. 
  • Evaluate budget - wastes - restrictions - documentations - training - quality - test requirements to push a Pilot Production in a Mass Production mode and potentially into a different production plant (overseas - final customer) 
  • Approve first mass production and give Green light to complete and autonomous local production. 
  • Support production / knowledge transfer from the Pilot site to another mass production site by training - procedures
  • Support current mass production by following all local modifications and informing the Original Pilot team to get their approval, and ensure that best parameters are used and duplicated by all production sites. 
  • Identify possibility to improve current production, with new material, equipment, procedures... 
  • In all of those actions the Corporate Industrialisation Engineer, is working closely with R&D team, Corp. Equipment team and all facility engineering teams of the company.

Profile & Other Information

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, ideally with a specialization in Industrialization and/or Materials Engineering.
  • Professional experience: Previous experience in an industrial environment, with a good understanding of industrial processes and operations.
  • Communication skills: Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional & international mindset: Ability to work transversally across functions and teams, collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and operate successfully in an international environment.
