Purpose

IDEMIA Public Security's Travel and Transport division has been pioneering innovative solutions for secure global mobility for over 40 years. Our team of 500+ professionals specializes in ensuring safe movement of people and objects worldwide. With 2200+ installed gates and touchpoints processing 700 million passengers annually, we develop end-to-end solutions, integrating biometrics, ID management, and data analytics to enhance the passenger experience without compromising security. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful execution of contracts related to our Travel and Transport Business Line. Reporting to the Head of Legal for the Business Line, you will facilitate the comprehension of contractual and program intricacies, identify financial and contractual risks, and participate in the negotiation of contractual clauses. During the project phase, you will support the Program management team, guarantee strict compliance with contractual commitments through to their completion, report on potential issues, propose actions to minimize risks, look for opportunities and, when necessary, compile pre-litigation documents.

Key Missions

  • Identify and mitigate operational and commercial risks in contracts
  • Assist the Legal Team in negotiating contract terms and defining contractual strategies by aligning terms with technical, commercial, financial, and tax requirements
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and other functions to manage suppliers, subcontractors, co-contractors, and partners; work with the Legal Team on flow downs
  • Collaborate with the Program management team to review contract risks and define key tracking points; develop risk management strategies and provide training to stakeholders
  • Report periodically to the Legal Team on program execution risks, issues, successes, and failures; maintain a contract-related document repository
  • Prepare correspondences, contract notices, and communications; liaise with internal stakeholders and the Legal Team for validation
  • Support the Legal Team in change management processes, including contract amendments and variations
  • Assist in preparing contractual claims and counterclaims by collecting relevant records, data, and information timely

Profile & Other Information

  • Significant experience working as a contracts professional
  •  Experience managing or supporting large-scale complex contracts, with working knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures. Strong business acumen
  • Ability to identify areas of concern and risk in proposals and contracts and to communicate those risks and recommended mitigations to the appropriate team members
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships with all levels of Company employees and interface with customers. Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working successfully with attorneys within a Legal function, with strong multi-function collaboration with Finance, Sales, Program Management, Security and Operations
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required. Contract Management certification highly desirable (CFCM, CPCM, etc.)
