Quality Team Lead

Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the scope meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Key Missions

•    Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 45001 (OH&S) & ISO 27001 (ISMS).
•    Ensure all documents & records of unit are controlled and updated.
•    Co-ordinate internal and external audits. 
•    Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions. 
•    Monitor Quality KPIs and prepare monthly management reports. 
•    Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements.
•    Lead in-process quality inspections for assembly, testing and packaging operations.
•    Ensure control plans, inspection standards and quality checkpoints are followed. 
•    Monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) and scrap. 
•    Analyze process defects and implement corrective and preventive actions. 
•    Review daily quality reports and production issues. 
•    Conduct line audits and layered process audits.
